PRODUCT DETAILS:

A sweet-and-savory blend of seeds, spices, and seasonings to make your favorite dishes pop with flavor! Traditionally used in Japan on everything from plain rice to ramen noodles, and everything in between. We like ours on roasted veggies, bagels, popcorn, pizza, buttered toast, soups, and beyond! The sky is the limit :)

Made in small batches with seasonal ingredients.

Purchase includes one container of Sonoko Furikake.

ORO BLANCO FURIKAKE:

1.25oz sold in a resealable bag. The original iteration of Sonoko’s furikake, made using seasonal citrus peel, processed entirely in-house. We peel each citrus by hand, dehydrate the peels, and then process in small batches to get them to just the right flake-size. This furikake is balanced in flavor, and leaves a pleasant, gentle buzz on the tongue from the combination of citrus and sancho pepper!

Ingredients: Toasted white sesame, black sesame, kale, cane sugar, sea salt, Alaskan kelp, sansho peppercorn, citrus peel.

TOMATO FURIKAKE:

1.25oz sold in a resealable bag. Deep umami flavor from peak-summer heirloom tomatoes. All tomatoes used in this are harvested directly from Sonoko’s own garden as the height of ripeness. They’re dehydrated in-house in small batches and processed into an unctuous powder before being blended into this very special furikake.

Ingredients: Toasted white sesame, black sesame, kale, Alaskan Kelp, tomato, cane sugar, sea salt, lemon peel, grapefruit peel, sansho peppercorn.

SESAME-WAKAME FURIKAKE (coming soon!):

1.25oz sold in a resealable bag. A paired-back blend, created to let the flavors of the wakame seaweed come through clean and clear. The resulting flavor is full and round, with deep umami flavor, and a mild buzzing/numbing from the sansho peppercorn.

Ingredients: Toasted white sesame, wakame seaweed, soy sauce, sugar, sea salt, sansho peppercorn.

JIMMY NARDELLO FURIKAKE:

2.0oz sold in a resealable glass jar. A sticky-style or “wet” furikake make with unique, tender-fleshed Jimmy Nardello sweet peppers. These sweet, flavorful peppers are the star of the show. Sourced fresh and juicy from Weiser Family Farms, we then dehydrate and pulverize them in-house in small batches and blend them into our sticky-salty-spicy-sweet furikake. The Jimmy Nardellos are mild, so we add disapora co. Guntur Sannam chili to finish this blend and give it a gentle kick!

Ingredients: Toasted white sesame, soy sauce, mirin, coconut sugar, desiccated jimmy nardello pepper, dried shiitake mushroom, cayenne
