Japanese home cooking is healthy, simple and fuss-free and anyone can prepare these dishes with a few staple ingredients in your pantry. Come and join my workshops to learn more about Japanese and other cooking techniques, ingredients and dishes so you can prepare a delicious feast at home.

A live reading from the book
A summer dessert demonstration and tasting, featuring melon, mochi balls, mint, and ginger syrup
A conversation with Alex Weiser about the beautiful melons of Weiser Family Farms
*One ticket admits 1 adult and up to 2 children. Up to 2 additional guests may be added to your ticket at $10 per guest.
The Weiser Family Farms stand will be open from 2:00–5:00 PM, where you'll have the chance to purchase seasonal melons and other farm produce at their peak. I'll also be there with books and a selection of my pantry products, and I'd love to say hello.
There will be shade, but dress for warm, sunny weather. Don’t forget your sunscreen!
