Location: Zoom link will be provided after sign-up, along with recipes and instructions, so you can do some prepping in advance.
On the menu: I will show you how I make my curry powder and curry roux from scratch, using my whole spice blend (available online). Alternatively, those who want to skip that part can start with Sonoko’s Curry Powder, or another ready-made curry powder, to make the recipe during the workshop. Together, we’ll make Karei Raisu, Japanese-Style Curry (chicken and vegetarian options available), served with Sonoko’s Basic Rice Recipe and a quick pickle. All recipes are from my latest cookbook, Wafu Cooking.
