Workshop Details:
Join us for a special VIRTUAL cooking class hosted by Sonoko Sakai. During this class, we’ll work together to make fresh soba noodles from scratch, entirely by hand. Everything from blending and kneading, to rolling out an evenly thin, blemish-free dough, to hand-cutting into thin noodles, using the knife design expressly for it, a Soba Bocho. Soba is traditionally eaten in the transition between the old year and the new one to come. It's the symbol and omen of health and longevity. Join me to celebrate the coming new year the Japanese way!
