There is no special secret to making an excellent salve, the most important components are simply time, patience, and excellent ingredients, just like many of my cooking projects! For these salves, we begin by infusing olive oil with local botanicals, such as Aleppo pine, lavender, calendula, and chrysanthemum. The herbs soak in the oil for a month. The longer the herbs soak in the oil, the more medicinal compounds are extracted. This selection of herbs and botanicals contain powerful aromatic, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties. Olive oil and mango butter are added to the mix to keep your skin smooth and hydrated. We hope these fragrant salves becomes a staple in your daily routine, highlighting your mornings and evenings, and any needed moment in between. SUNRISE: An olive oil base is infused for 1 month with a gently awakening blend of locally harvested Aleppo pine, warming cinnamon, and fragrant cardamom. Ingredients: olive oil, beeswax, mango butter, Aleppo pine, cinnamon, cardamom.

SUNSET: An olive oil base is infused for 1 month with a soothing blend of lavender, calendula, and chrysanthemum grown and harvested from Sonoko’s home garden. Ingredients: olive oil, beeswax, mango butter, lavender, calendula, chrysanthemum.
