Instructions for Use:
To make 1 cup of dashi, add 1 teaspoon of Shiitake Powder to 1 cup of boiling water and stir until dissolved. To make miso soup, bring 4 cups of mushroom dashi to a simmer in a pot. Heat for 1 minute. Add bitesize pieces of your favorite vegetables and proteins to the pot, cooking to desired tenderness. Turn off heat, add 3-4 tablespoons of miso paste. Taste and make adjustments. Serve the miso soup with chopped scallions and shichimi pepper, if you like a little kick!
